Walgreen's Shopping Trip

Walgreen's Shopping total spent: $3.52

Using the Register Rewards you can get great deals at Walgreen's. I did have to do two transactions to get these great deals. I also started with $13.50 of register rewards from the previous week.

Transaction #1: subtotal $.99 tax $1.46 = $2.45

2 Listerine (5oo ml): Sale price $4.50 ea. (Walmart $3.92) - MC $1.50 - RR $6.00
Final Price: $1.50 + earned $4.50 register rewards

Right Guard: sale price $2.99 - MC $1.00
Final Price: $1.99 + earned $2.00 register rewards

2 pkg. Cotton Squares 250 ct: $5.00 -RR $5.00- RR $2.50
Final Price: Over $2.50

Transaction # 2: subtotal $.38 tax $.69 = $1.07

2 pkg Huggie Wipes 80 ct: $2.50 ea. -MC $.75 - RR $4.50 (earned in transaction 1)
Final Price: Over $.25

2 pkg Walgreen Wipes 80 ct: $1.245 ea - RR $2.00 (earned in transaction 1)
Final Price: $.49

M&M's (my boys ate them in the car.) $.89-MC $.75** Final Price: $.14

The $.75 coupon was for Huggie baby wipes, but I cannot stack my MC coupons and RR on one item. I was planning on saving my Huggies coupon for another time (it expired in July,) but my boys were good shoppers and were asking for a treat. I applied it here to the M&M's since I would have not used the coupon at all if it weren't for my boys-but they were worth a $.14 treat. I hope that makes sense.

If you shopped Walgreen's this week tell me about it-maybe I can or someone else can go out and get the same great deal!

  1. I am sad that Walgreens is discontinuing their rebates...I was just starting to get the hang of it.
