Shopping Trip 8

King Soopers and Albertson's
I got my first reusable shopping bag and it was FREE!
Some stores will give you a credit on your purchase if you bring in your own reusable shopping bags. If you use reusable shopping bags tell me about it --leave a comment. If you know which stores do give you a credit for bringing your own bags let me know.

I did go to two stores this week for my groceries and the deals were awesome! I menu plan for two weeks at a time and so my grocery trips this week were simply to get milk, fresh produce and any great deals.

  1. I have wanted to start using my own reusable bag but haven't started yet. I don't know of any stores in Utah that give you a credit. I will have to check that out! Some stores just recently stopped giving a few cents for each plastic bag you bring in to be recycled.

  2. I don't have a reusable shopping bag, but I really want one! I'm thinking of making my own to make it a little more stylish :)

  3. I just went to King Soopers in Thornton, and they gave me a five cent credit for each bag I brought. I had 3 bags and was credited 15 cents off my purchase.
