What you need to know about Walgreen's

Easy Saver Catalog: Walgreen's have are no longer doing this program! Last rebate period was in April 2009.

Instant Value Coupons-(7 day coupons): These you find in the weekly Walgreen's ad. You can combine and instant value coupon and a 7-day coupon or manufacturer coupon and a 7-day coupon. Some Walgreen's will do rain checks on the 7-day coupons.

Register Rewards These print out after purchasing certain items. If you look in the weekly ad you will find certain products that will give you register rewards, it changes every week. This coupon can be used on your next shopping trip and will vary in value. On occasion they will limit what you can buy with Register Rewards, for example it may exclude Proctor & Gamble products (but not always).

**Register Rewards are treated as manufacture coupons at the register. The total number of coupons and register rewards cannot be more than the number of items you are purchasing.

Walgreen Shopping Tips:
This can be more complex shopping and I need all my brain, so I don't bring my kids.

Make a list of what you want to buy with what coupons go with it.

If you will be receiving register rewards, consider breaking up your list to use your register rewards.

Pick up a weekly ad at the front of the store before you shop. You can double check prices and sizes easier with your shopping list.

At check out-don't hand the cashier all your coupons. I have been at stores where not all the coupons were scanned when I handed them over in a big stack. Hand them over 1 0r 2 at a time. I know it sounds obnoxious, but this way you can be sure all your coupons get scanned correctly. (This is a good tip for any store when using coupons.)

Hopefully this is helpful! I am a new Walgreen's shopper so as I find good and great deals I hope to share them with you!
